The Central Lions basketball team scored 102 points and limited the visiting Blacksher Bulldogs to 49 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Home for a 2A Area 5 game on Monday, January 26. Central will confront a Flying Squadron team coming off a 96-56 league loss to Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL). The Flying Squadron record now stands at 7-16.

With the loss, Blacksher falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Excel (Excel, AL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, January 29. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 7-9.
