California High School Basketball - Sylmar knocked off by Van Nuys

The Van Nuys Wolves basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Sylmar Spartans to 51 in the Wolves league triumph on Monday.

The Wolves now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canoga Park for a Valley Mission contest on Wednesday, January 26. Van Nuys will battle a Hunters team coming off a 69-23 non-league loss to Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA). The Hunters record now stands at 3-16.

The Spartans (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Panorama (Panorama City, CA). The Pythons enter the Valley Mission contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Panorama was defeated by Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA), 81-37, in a league contest.
