Illinois High School Basketball - Moline overwhelms Geneseo
January 24, 2023: Moline, IL 61265 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) and the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL), saw Moline's basketball squad wallop Geneseo by a tally of 87-38.
With the victory, Moline improves its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Maroons host Rock Island (Rock Island, IL) to confront the Rocks in a Western Big 6 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Rocks come into the challenge with a record of 15-8. Rock Island lost 60-52 in their recent league challenge against East Moline United (East Moline, IL)
Next up, the Maple Leafs confront the Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL) in a Western Big 6 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Geneseo will attempt to improve on its 0-19 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 5-19 record after their 80-35 league loss to Quincy (Quincy, IL).
