Georgia High School Basketball - Newton topples Grayson
January 24, 2023: Covington, GA 30014 In Tuesday's league outing, the Newton Rams (Covington, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Grayson Rams (Loganville, GA), by a margin of 54-43.
The Rams (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA). The Comets go into the AAAAAAA Region 4 outing with a 14-6 record. In their last outing, South Gwinnett defeated Archer (Lawrenceville, GA), 54-52, in a league outing.
The Rams now own a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Brookwood for a AAAAAAA Region 4 outing on Friday, January 27. Grayson will clash with a Broncos squad coming off a 75-53 league loss to Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Broncos record now stands at 10-10.
