The Archer Tigers basketball team (Lawrenceville, GA), was nudged 54-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Newton Rams (Covington, GA)

The Rams now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norcross for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 10.

The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Dacula was nudged by North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA), 62-49, in a non-league battle.
