Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sharpsville topples West Middlesex
January 24, 2023: Sharpsville, PA 16150 In Tuesday's league outing, the Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA), by a count of 55-42.
The Blue Devils (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA). The Sailors go into the District 10 Region 2 outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Lakeview defeated Reynolds (Greenville, PA), 53-24, in a league outing.
The Big Reds now hold a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Mercer for a District 10 Region 2 outing on Friday, January 27. West Middlesex will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 76-39 league win over George Junior Republic (Grove City, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-4.
