South Carolina High School Basketball - Pee Dee Academy can't hold off Christian Academy

January 24, 2024: Mullins, SC 29574

The Christian Academy Saints basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Pee Dee Academy Eagles to 36 in the Saints league triumph on Wednesday.

The Saints now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Florence Christian for a SCISA AAA Region II contest on Friday, January 26. Christian Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 80-70 league win over Williamsburg Academy (Kingstree, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-13.

The Eagles (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Carolina Academy (Lake City, SC). The Bobcats enter the SCISA AAA Region II contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Carolina Academy was nudged by Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC), 53-35, in a league contest.
