Timberline Blazers (Lacey, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA), 49-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Timberline upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Blazers travel to Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA) to clash with the Cougars in a 3A South Sound bout on Friday, January 26. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-12. Central Kitsap lost 73-57 in their recent league bout against River Ridge (Lacey, WA)

Next up, the Tides clash with the Capital Cougars (Olympia, WA) in a 3A South Sound bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Gig Harbor will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 71-39 league loss to North Thurston (Lacey, WA).
