Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA) and the visiting Timberline Blazers (Lacey, WA), saw Gig Harbor's basketball squad hold off Timberline by a tally of 59-58.

With the victory, Gig Harbor improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Tides travel to Capital (Olympia, WA) to play the Cougars in a 3A South Sound challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Capital won 57-35 in their recent league challenge against Yelm (Yelm, WA)
