The Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ) basketball felled the host Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ), 60-41 in Wednesday's league test.

The Mustangs (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ). The Pirates go into the Cape/Atlantic - National test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Cedar Creek was beaten by Hammonton (Hammonton, NJ), 72-56, in a non-league test.

The Spartans now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasantville for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Holy Spirit will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Wildwood (Wildwood, NJ). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-8.
