January 24, 2024: Leonardtown, MD 20650 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) and the visiting Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), saw Leonardtown's basketball squad hold off Thomas Stone by a count of 55-54.
With the victory, Leonardtown upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Raiders host Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to play the Panthers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, January 26. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Patuxent lost 68-60 in their recent league challenge against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD)
Next up, the Cougars play the North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Friday, January 26. Thomas Stone will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
