Maryland High School Basketball - North Point holds off Leonardtown

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) and the visiting Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD), saw North Point's basketball squad hold off Leonardtown by a tally of 54-53.

With the victory, North Point improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Chopticon (Morganza, MD) to confront the Braves in a Southern Maryland challenge on Monday, February 5. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Chopticon won 75-48 in their recent league challenge against Lackey (Indian Head, MD)

Next up, the Raiders confront the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Leonardtown will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 75-48 league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD).
