Washington High School Basketball - Sedro-Woolley can't hold off Burlington-Edison
January 24, 2024: Burlington, WA 98233 The Burlington-Edison Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Sedro-Woolley Cubs to 50 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blaine for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Burlington-Edison will battle a Borderites team coming off a 64-46 non-league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 5-8.
The Cubs (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Mount Vernon edged Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
