With the victory, Palo Duro advances its record to 24-3 on the year. The Dons host Lubbock (Lubbock, TX) to face the Westerners in a 5A Region I District 3 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Westerners enter the match with a record of 8-18. Lubbock lost 63-37 in their recent league match against Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX)
The Longhorns now own a 5-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coronado for a 5A Region I District 3 match on Tuesday, January 28. Caprock will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 46-40 league win over Plainview (Plainview, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-17.
