The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Gibson Southern Titans (Fort Branch, IN) and the host Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN), observed Gibson Southern's basketball team knock off Tell City by a score of 59-39.

The Titans (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Evansville Memorial (Evansville, IN). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Evansville Memorial prevailed over Evansville Harrison (Evansville, IN), 79-73, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Marksmen encounter the Crawford County Wolfpack (Marengo, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Tell City will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 62-29 non-league loss to Corydon Central (Corydon, IN).
