The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Haines City Hornets (Haines City, FL) and the visiting Poinciana Eagles (Kissimmee, FL), observed Haines City's basketball team edge Poinciana by a score of 49-44.

The Hornets (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Discovery (Lake Alfred, FL). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Discovery edged Avon Park (Avon Park, FL), 80-64, in a non-league challenge.
