North Carolina High School Basketball - Highlands fells Summit Charter
January 24, 2025: Cashiers, NC 28717 The Highlands Highlanders basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Summit Charter Bears to 41 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Highlanders now possess a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Swain County for a 1A Smoky Mountain game on Monday, January 27. Highlands will confront a Maroon Devils team coming off a 100-66 league loss to Andrews (Andrews, NC). The Maroon Devils record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Summit Charter falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC) to confront the Black Knights in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Black Knights go into the game with a record of 11-5.
