In Wednesday's non-league test, the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Summit Charter Bears (Cashiers, NC), by a score of 77-39.

Next, the Maroon Devils encounter the Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) in a 1A Smoky Mountain test, on Tuesday, January 21. Swain County will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Black Knights come into the test with a 6-5 record after their 80-44 non-league win over Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC).
