Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), 55-52 in a league match.

With the victory, Robbinsville advances its record to 16-5 on the year. The Black Knights travel to Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC) to face the Bobcats in a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 2-14. Blue Ridge Early College lost 51-18 in their recent league match against Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC)

The Maroon Devils now own a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Murphy for a 1A Smoky Mountain - Big match on Monday, February 10. Swain County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 72-49 league loss to Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-9.
