In Friday's league test, the Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), by a score of 75-39.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC) in a 1A Smoky Mountain test, on Tuesday, February 4. Murphy will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 14-6 record after their 56-46 league loss to Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC).
