The Murphy Bulldogs bounced the visiting Nantahala Hawks basketball squad by a final score of 90-52 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 11. Murphy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the outing with a 7-7 record after their 64-50 league loss to Calhoun (Calhoun, GA).

The Hawks (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Maroon Devils enter the 1A Smoky Mountain outing with a 3-4 record.
