The Franklin Panthers basketball team scored 76 points and limited the host Murphy Bulldogs to 49 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to McDowell for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Franklin will confront a Titans team coming off a 72-39 league win over T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Titans record now stands at 6-1.
