In Thursday's non-league test, the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), by a score of 89-54.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 6. Smoky Mountain will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Braves come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 81-77 non-league loss to Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC).

The Maroon Devils (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC). The Bobcats come into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Blue Ridge Early College bounced Shining Rock Classical Academy (Waynesville, NC), 43-35, in a non-league test.
