The Knippa Crushers basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Rocksprings Angoras to 58 in the Crushers league triumph on Friday.

The Crushers now possess a 14-13 record. They play next when they host Utopia for a 1A Region IV District 31 game on Tuesday, January 28. Knippa will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 72-62 league win over D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 22-4.

With the loss, Rocksprings falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Angoras travel to Leakey (Leakey, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Region IV District 31 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-18. Leakey lost 50-37 in their recent league game against Medina (Medina, TX)
