The Comstock Panthers basketball squad (Comstock, TX), was outscored 49-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Rocksprings Angoras (Rocksprings, TX)

With the victory, Rocksprings advances its record to 2-9 on the year. The Angoras travel to Knippa (Knippa, TX) to meet the Crushers in a 1A Region IV District 31 battle on Monday, December 30. The Crushers enter the battle with a record of 8-8. Knippa lost 53-43 in their recent non-league battle against Bracken Christian (Bulverde, TX)

The Panthers now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nueces Canyon for a 1A Region IV District 31 battle on Tuesday, December 31. Comstock will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 53-36 non-league loss to Bronte (Bronte, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-13.
