Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX), 70-65 in a league match.

With the victory, Odessa upgrades its record to 13-16 on the year. The Bronchos host San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX) to face the Bobcats in a 6A Region I District 2 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 22-7. San Angelo Central won 73-40 in their recent league match against Midland (Midland, TX)

The Rebels now sport a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Permian for a 6A Region I District 2 match on Tuesday, January 28. Midland Legacy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 66-56 league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 19-9.
