January 24, 2025: Sioux Center, IA 51250 MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA), 84-41 in a league match.
With the victory, MOC-Floyd Valley advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Dutchmen travel to Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA) to face the Generals in a Siouxland match on Tuesday, January 28. The Generals enter the match with a record of 1-13. Sibley-Ocheyedan lost 65-61 in their recent league match against Sheldon (Sheldon, IA)
The Warriors now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Lyon for a Siouxland match on Tuesday, January 28. Sioux Center will face a Lions squad coming off a 58-39 league loss to West Lyon (Inwood, IA). The Lions record now stands at 1-11.
