Iowa High School Basketball - Sioux Center holds off West Lyon
December 17, 2024: Sioux Center, IA 51250 The Sioux Center Warriors basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting West Lyon Wildcats to 50 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Boyden-Hull for a Siouxland game on Friday, December 20. Sioux Center will confront a Comets team coming off a 61-52 non-league win over Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA). The Comets record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, West Lyon falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to St. Mary's (Remsen, IA) to confront the Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 4-0. St. Mary's won 49-27 in their recent league game against Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA)
