January 17, 2025: Inwood, IA 51240 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA) and the visiting Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA), observed West Lyon's basketball team overwhelm Sheldon by a score of 70-30.
The Wildcats (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 12-1 record. In their last challenge, Kuemper trounced Glenwood (Glenwood, IA), 74-46, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Orabs encounter the Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA) in a Siouxland challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Sheldon will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 70-58 league win over Okoboji (Milford, IA).
