January 24, 2025: Plainfield, IL 60544 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) and the host Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), observed Oswego East's basketball team knock off Plainfield Central by a score of 41-22.
The Wolves (16-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 16-4 record. In their last challenge, Downers Grove North prevailed over Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 49-44, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Plainfield Central will attempt to improve on its 1-20 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 62-49 non-league win over Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL).
