Illinois High School Basketball - Oswego overwhelms Plainfield Central
January 10, 2025: Oswego, IL 60543 The Oswego Panthers basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats to 29 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now have a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Oswego East for a SouthWest Prairie game on Saturday, January 11. Oswego will confront a Wolves team coming off a 60-54 non-league win over Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Plainfield Central falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Minooka (Minooka, IL) to confront the Indians in a SouthWest Prairie game on Tuesday, January 14. The Indians go into the game with a record of 10-8. Minooka won 45-41 in their recent league game against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL)
