Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), 57-44 in a league match.

With the victory, Porter Ridge upgrades its record to 4-14 on the year. The Pirates travel to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC) to face the Mavericks in a 4A Southern Carolina match on Tuesday, January 28.
