The Normal Community Ironmen felled the host Champaign Central Maroons basketball squad by a count of 53-42 in Friday's league match.

With the victory, Normal Community advances its record to 19-6 on the year. The Ironmen host Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 17-6. Lincoln-Way West won 53-45 in their recent league match against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL)

The Maroons now own a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Urbana for a Big Twelve match on Thursday, January 30.
