California High School Basketball - Ygnacio Valley holds off Concord
January 24, 2025: Concord, CA 94521 The Ygnacio Valley Wolves basketball team scored 36 points and limited the host Concord Bears to 34 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wolves now possess a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Northgate for a game on Thursday, January 30. Ygnacio Valley will confront a Broncos team coming off a 63-30 league win over Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 16-8.
With the loss, Concord falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to confront the Knights in a game on Tuesday, January 28. The Knights go into the game with a record of 10-11. Las Lomas lost 49-45 in their recent non-league game against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA)
