California High School Basketball - Miramonte bests Concord
January 17, 2025: Orinda, CA 94563 The Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) basketball toppled the visiting Concord Bears (Concord, CA), 56-38 in Friday's league bout.
The Matadors now possess a 3-15 record. They play next when they travel to Cornerstone Christian for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Miramonte will play a Cougars team coming off a 65-31 league win over Athenian (Danville, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Concord falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Benicia (Benicia, CA) to play the Panthers in a bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Benicia won 74-39 in their recent non-league bout against Bethel (Vallejo, CA)
