California High School Basketball - Las Lomas triumphant over Miramonte
February 6, 2025: Orinda, CA 94563 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) and the host Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), observed Las Lomas's basketball team overwhelm Miramonte by a score of 66-41.
The Knights (13-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA). The Ugly Eagles come into the challenge with a 14-10 record. In their last challenge, Clayton Valley Charter was routed by Jesuit (Carmichael, CA), 57-47, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Matadors battle the Berean Christian Eagles (Walnut Creek, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, February 10. Miramonte will attempt to improve on its 5-20 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 83-25 league loss to Benicia (Benicia, CA).
