California High School Basketball - De La Salle triumphant over Miramonte
February 1, 2025: Concord, CA 94518 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA) and the visiting Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), observed De La Salle's basketball team overwhelm Miramonte by a score of 71-36.
The Spartans (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against California (San Ramon, CA). The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 14-13 record. In their last challenge, California was routed by Foothill (Pleasanton, CA), 56-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Matadors encounter the Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Miramonte will attempt to improve on its 5-18 season record. The Dons come into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 43-33 league win over Benicia (Benicia, CA).
