California High School Basketball - Benicia trounced by De La Salle
December 21, 2024: Concord, CA 94518 De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA), 59-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, De La Salle advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Spartans host Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA) to face the Crusaders in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 4-2. Archbishop Riordan won 81-39 in their recent non-league match against Whitney (Rocklin, CA)
The Panthers now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monte Vista for a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. Benicia will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 49-22 non-league win over Christopher (Gilroy, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-5.
