The Valley Tigers basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Mason City Mohawks to 58 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnston for a non-league contest on Friday, January 28.

The Mohawks (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ames (Ames, IA). The Little Cyclones enter the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Ames nudged Lincoln (Des Moines, IA), 49-41, in a non-league contest.
