Mason City Mohawks (Mason City, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Des Moines, IA), 61-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mason City upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Mohawks travel to Ankeny (Ankeny, IA) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 7. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 5-2.
