The Ames Little Cyclones topped the host Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team by a final score of 49-41 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Little Cyclones face the Mason City Mohawks (Mason City, IA) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 28. Ames will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Mohawks enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 62-58 league loss to Valley (West Des Moines, IA).
