Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA) and the host Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA), saw La Salle's basketball squad hold off Bishop Amat by a tally of 54-52.

With the victory, La Salle improves its record to 9-15 on the campaign. The Lancers host St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA) to confront the Warriors in a Camino Real challenge on Friday, January 27. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 21-4. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy won 91-60 in their recent league challenge against Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Lancers confront the Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA) in a Camino Real challenge, on Friday, January 27. Bishop Amat will attempt to improve on its 14-10 season record.
