Maryland High School Basketball - New Town trounces Towson
January 25, 2023: Towson, MD 21286 The New Town (Owings Mills, MD) basketball crushed the host Towson Generals (Towson, MD), 82-40 in Wednesday's league test.
The (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Dover (Dover, DE). The Senators go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Dover walloped Smyrna (Smyrna, DE), 78-72, in a league test.
The Generals now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Tech for a Baltimore County 2 test on Friday, January 27. Towson will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 76-54 league loss to Chesapeake (Baltimore, MD). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-9.
