The Lanesboro Burros basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Mabel-Canton Cougars to 36 in the Burros league triumph on Wednesday.

The Burros now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Meadow for a A Section 1 contest on Thursday, January 26.

The Cougars (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Southland (Adams, MN). The Rebels enter the A Section 1 contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Southland was defeated by Houston (Houston, MN), 72-55, in a league contest.
