The Lanesboro Burros basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Mabel-Canton Cougars to 35 in the Burros league triumph on Friday.

The Burros now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewiston-Altura for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7.

The Cougars (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN). The Fighting Saints enter the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, St. Charles ran past Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN), 65-52, in a league contest.
