Riverside Ram (Leesburg, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA), 80-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Ram travel to Independence (Ashburn, VA) to play the in a Potomac bout on Monday, January 29. The come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Independence lost 63-53 in their recent league bout against Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA) in a Potomac bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Briar Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 63-55 league win over Lightridge (Aldie, VA).
