Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Riverside Ram (Leesburg, VA), 61-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Briar Woods upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA) to play the Bulldogs in a Potomac bout on Thursday, January 11. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Stone Bridge won 53-46 in their recent league bout against Lightridge (Aldie, VA)

Next up, the Ram play the Potomac Falls Panthers (Sterling, VA) in a Potomac bout, on Friday, January 12. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 13-0 record after their 69-49 non-league win over Broad Run (Ashburn, VA).
