California High School Basketball - Redwood fells El Diamante

January 25, 2024: Visalia, CA 93277

Redwood Rangers (Visalia, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host El Diamante Miners (Visalia, CA), 62-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Redwood upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Rangers host Porterville (Porterville, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a East Yosemite bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-12. Porterville won 52-40 in their recent league bout against Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA)

Next up, the Miners clash with the Monache Marauders (Porterville, CA) in a East Yosemite bout, on Wednesday, January 31. El Diamante will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Marauders go into the bout with a 13-12 record after their 66-50 league win over Golden West (Visalia, CA).
