The Redwood Rangers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Golden West Trailblazers to 35 in the Rangers league triumph on Friday.

The Rangers now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Whitney for a East Yosemite contest on Tuesday, January 23. Redwood will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 60-58 league win over Monache (Porterville, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-14.

The Trailblazers (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against El Diamante (Visalia, CA). The Miners enter the East Yosemite contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, El Diamante was defeated by Porterville (Porterville, CA), 54-51, in a league contest.
