The McQueen Lancers basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Galena Grizzlies to 55 in the Lancers league triumph on Thursday.

The Lancers now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Manogue for a 4A Northern contest on Saturday, January 27. McQueen will meet a Miners team coming off a 55-51 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV). The Miners record now stands at 8-13.

The Grizzlies (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Cougars enter the 4A Northern contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Spanish Springs ran past Carson (Carson City, NV), 62-30, in a league game.
